Production Techniques

For the podcast I used a lot of techniques during the production. The production techniques and processes were used to good effect to enhance the meaning, within the intentions of the production. Techniques such as vox pops and sound bites are both primary examples of this. The vox pops add legitimacy to the podcast, making it seem more realistic and professional. The sound bites that I used came from the product itself. I used audio from the trailer and sound effects from the game. both of these helped with the pacing of the podcast, stopping it from becoming boring and making the podcast feel more connected with the product of Grand Theft Auto 5.

For the production of the podcast I used hand-held recording equipment for the vox pop interviews. When using the sound bites in the podcast, I used software such as Adobe Audition CC and iTunes to edit it in with the podcast. Everything else from the production was either made in Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
